INTRODUCING: YungRod 2G
Born and raised in Birmingham, AL during the 1990's, YungRod 2G brings a fresh approach to an old format. The new single, Bleu Magick, displays her artistic word play while paying homage to pioneers before her. The New York braggadocio flow, mixed with a southern drawl hits your mind and ears for a refreshingly familiar sound of hip hop in it's prime. From singing at a young age of 3, to songwriting by 7, things rather progressed for YungRod 2G, and the military wasn't out of the question for this motivated individual.
In Summer of 2012 Raw Uncutt Lyrical Dope was released to only hard copies, but it was he beginning of that raw talent that YungRod 2G was molding into. As the founding artist of THC Multimedia and mentor, she wears many hats including Songwriter, Singer, Manager, Artist, & Business Owner. With a plethora of academic, military, and scholastic awards and as an Alabama Music Awards Nominee, YungRod has been leading the fans diligently to the sound you hear now. Accomplished and humble, Rod 2G seeks to be a more positive influence in the hip hop culture and to also reclaim the culture for inner city youths through her music, brand and actions, while helping to maintain a more positive influence within the culture.
